Bien qu'il soit partiellement autofécond, nous suggérons une plantation avec une autre variété de prunier européen ce qui donnera une meilleure récolte. La fructification prend de 3 à 5 ans après la plantation. Il murira à la fin septembre. La taille s'effectue à la fin de l'hiver. À l'automne, installer une spirale sur le tronc pour le protéger contre les brulures du soleil et contre les rongeurs, pour les premières années.
